Fiat Linea is available with two different engine options - its petrol variants are equipped with a 1.4L, 1368cc, Fire petrol engine produces 90bhp power at 6000rpm and 115Nm torque at 4500rpm and gives the mileage 12 to 16kmpl on the other hand its diesel variant is equipped with a 1.3L, 1248cc Multijet diesel engine that produces maximum power of 85bhp at 4000rpm and the maximum torque of 203Nm at 2500rpm and offers mileage of 14 to 19kmpl.
Safety options of Fiat Linea includes Airbags, ABS along with EBD, ESP helps providing more support while driving, this car allows stable traction control with the help of brakes and engine control. ASR system makes the vehicle to be drived easier on the rough ground conditions. Further there are MSR, Hillholder-HBA as safety options.
Some other passive safety features in Fiat Linea include Air Bag smart-2 system, side and curtain air bags, front racked seat belts. One another safety feature include inertia switch FPS (Fire Protection System). FPS system prevent the car from flow of fuel in engine at the time of strokes.
