
Toyota Prado diesel launched in India






Toyota had launched the new Prado diesel Landcruiser in India, and the newly redesigned Prado will appeal to both the genuine SUV buyers and also the car buyers, who are looking to upgrade their interior luxury to a great extend.
This new Prado is provided with a 3.0 litre diesel engine, adoption of Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System for driving stability at city and highway speeds. It has features like 3 zone automatic climate control, multi-information display and DAC (Down-hill Assist Control) and VSC (Vehicle Stability Control).
Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt Ltd are aiming to attain a market share of around 10 percent with the launching of this new Prado. They states that their target audience are active businessmen and industrialists who want to make a style statement and are in the middle age group.
This brand new Prado will be available in 5 colors - white pearl crystal shine, silver metallic, grey metallic, greyish blue metallic and black. The ex-showroom price for this brand new Toyota Prado at the Banglore city is around Rs 52.74 lakhs...

2013 Mercedes-Benz SL-Klasse - First Artist Impression
The Romanian designer Andrei Avarvarii, well-known for its both interesting and intriguing car renderings, has recently come up with a computer-generated image of how he imagined the future SL-Klasse roadster would look like. Avarvarii combined styling lines from two different Mercedes-Benz models:
- the headlights from the very nonconformist F 700 concept;
- the radiator grille, the front air intake and the exterior mirrors from the new SLS AMG Gullwing.
The final result is, all in all, OK, although a bit awkward for a Merc. Forget about the Santa he put behind the wheel. It was a bad move...

105 years ago – 8 February 1905: Georg Wiß established the Süddeutsche Automobilfabrik Gaggenau GmbH in Gaggenau. In late November 1907 Benz & Cie. decided on a takeover. The factory was renamed Benz-Werke Gaggenau GmbH on 31 December 1910.
85 years ago – 18 February 1925: The Mercedes star inside a laurel wreath was registered as a trademark.
75 years ago – 14 - 24 February 1935: Daimler-Benz presented the 150 sports car (W 30 series) with a rear-mounted, 1.5-litre, four-cylinder engine at the International Car and Motorcycle Show in Berlin.
15 years ago – 23 February 1995: Evobus GmbH was created by merging the bus division of Mercedes-Benz AG with Karl Kässbohrer GmbH. The Mercedes-Benz and Setra brands continued to appear on the market separately.
